--------------------------------- Monday, December 11, 2006 @ 7:26 pm boss not in town for one entire week. so it seems lyk i'm the boss in the office now. taking orders, quoting prices, writing invoices, making sure good/items are ready, calling suppliers if they have items that i dun have....it's nice. a sense of satisfaction..tat was wad i was telling my mum...u feel a sense of responsibility too.. it's lyk u own the company n i feel the need to make sure everything runs in order...it's a nice feeling...lyk all grown up. yet, i know, to start a business is not easy. need lotz of capital. hmm. i wonder if i'll be a businesswoman nxt time. but dun ever ask me to study business course in uni! haha.
--------------------------------- Tuesday, December 05, 2006 @ 10:18 pm sigh. started work already. $42/day. 7 hours a day. started work on fri afternoon. n fri morning, boss is still interviewing ppl. dun really lyk. but nvm. got a job already. but a very boring one!! everyday do admin! though it's wad i'm good at, but it's getting mudane. sometimes, even nth to do. so jus sit down there, listen to radio and read mag or do my work. boring. u cld say it's easy money earned; sit down there shake leg n money roll in but no, i wld rather have my time better spent. every morning i wake up feeling a bit low n praying tat tat day wun be boring.
my boss is an interesting man. lyk pa's age. and when he talks sometimes he closes his eyes. his fav words? "flexible la" "simple job". haha. n i love to tell my dad abt my adventures at work! sumthing tat i can relate to? he jus asked abt me! yea! n i was explaining to him how to do a standard procedure when ppl take orders. also a revision for me. cos boss leaving for 1 week n the whole company's mine to take charge. scary leh. have to take down enquiry, quote prices, check prices, do the D/O form n invoices. n pack items n make sure items are ready. in the admin office, only got me. got 2 other staffs also but in the production line. okay. revision. standard procedure:
there. all done. shldn't be tat tough rite? for 5 days. i'm hopin to get victor to come down n help me. tot of asking ma but i think she's too busy la. dun lyk to work in office alone. a bit of no confidence if i dun have a second person to help me out. yea. glad he says he's thinkin of tat too. okay. tat's abt all. jus had been rushing to work in the mornings. haha. okay. getting late. it's 11.21pm now. gotta slp. oh! n i really wonder how nxt year's lyk. my class, my A's, house com, prom....i really wonder if i shld go prom in the first place. it's the one thing i always look forward to since sec 3 n now my situation's lyk tat...man...tell me if i shld go. prom's only nice if u got frens arnd, got frens to party wid, to dance wid, to drink, to have dinner wid...but.....sob...i really wonder. sigh. today's the JC2's prom nite. sigh.
