I received a shocking news today
When someone told me you found someone new
How you had taken a liking to her
Much quicker than I knew

I was surprised when I heard it
Shocked, you might say
I couldn't believe my eyes
Nor could my heart echo the same

But I believe I can pull through this
For in His grace I rely
He has been good to me
Warning me through weeks past by
