Haha. i know it's pretty depressing to see the number of days left to A's after seeing so many smiley photos. but still, gotta keep the tradition going and reminder too! today's FAREWELL ASSEMBLY!!! the day we officially stop lessons and so-called graduate from here. though the real graduation really happens when we get our A level cert. tat's when I'll really see the sch for the last time... Any after-thoughts after smiling so much and grabbing ppl to take photos with? well, jus glad i can take photos with many ppl. and i'm glad we can a really nice and candid class photo! well, this 1 year 10 months in SAJC have been quite an experience. ups and downs. and really wanna thank God for seeing me through this college life. thank God most importantly for Morning Worship! have really been blessed by it. that's where and when i really break through of my tradition expression of worship and stepped into something new. and God really fills the LT many times and spoken to me through that 15min-1/2hour that i can spend with him. thank God for my prayer partner, JOSIAH! who has been such a great fren to me and always pray for me. someone tat i can always turn to when i need prayers..thanks pal! so going on, well, the farewell assembly was indeed enjoyable and memorable! it was something that i'll rmb for a long time. never had such a ceremony. not even in sec sch. it wasn't so hip. although A Levels keep poping up. even in the video presentation tat the teachers gave us, but well, i guess it's undeniable and we can't forget about reality amist having fun. for the first time, I ENJOY SPEECHES! i was surprised but i listened to everyone of them attentively and absorbing in what each has to say. the Canon, Mrs Lim, Ms Surnafa, Ms K...they were so MEANINGFUL! took back alot of lessons. esp from Mrs Lim when she gives the parable of the pencil...they all gave very good speeches although they claimed they are not prepared... well, i was quite upset that they din start with chapel before everything else. oh well. so it was the prize giving ceremony..most courteous award, the fren of Singa Gold award and of course, the top 20 students. mun hon is really deserving of the Singa Gold award. indeed, pride din get the better of him and he's always humble and a gentleman. although i dun noe him very well, but i'm glad to have a few exchanges with him. besides, he's in my h3 class! =) well done, mun hon! all the best in your endeavours and i wonder if i'll see u again... so chapel was okay. glad i can know Ruth's taste of songs as she shared with me before chapel started. it's the first time the muslims see chapel too! so many huggings..i mean, put hands around shoulders tat kind. on-off-on-off. but it was nice. for once, when we sing the college hymn and song, we were doing tat. and for the first time, we sang the college song so loudly! but it was fun! really fun! so toking about singing and all, the teahers put up a singing item! Ms Lee was playing drums!!! i din noe. i din expect it either. thought she'll be singing instead. and Mr Casey Leong was singing!! oh my! i wanted to snap a real good pic then send to Eric to show my aunt who happen to be his teacher in msia, but my camera died on me jus when i wanted a better shot. i only got a blur one now..haha. but i'm glad my camera turned out okay so i can take more photos! well, the song they sang was Unwritten which i put in my previous post. got a chance to really look at the lyrics and it's so meaningful! thank you teachers! =) indeed, the pages of my life are still unwritten and i will write something meaningful on it! purposeful such that God uses me mightly! then, it was farewell for Mrs Lim too. the video presentation was good. i lyk the layout. ms chia was super anxious that everything goes well. then there was this gifts-ceremony where each CG rep has to go on stage to give mrs lim a gift and hug her. but i dun lyk the way she shows the gifts to everyone in the cc. it's lyk comparing gifts. yee. but the gifts are nice and many. i hope mrs lim likes them however big or small it is =) If we hold on together was a song that we sang together. as for gifts I receive, thanks Ms Tan! Alison! Mr Fong! Ansley! ms tan gave me a black book with my name that is stickered on it! tat black book look vaguely familiar. and when i got mine, i know why already. well, not saying here. before ms tan gave the book, she was also echoeing the speeches and saying that some of them names are a bit crooked. she apologised and also said she can't change it. make a mistake but move on with life. so yar. tat was meaningful and something i take back home together with the book...now i'm jus wondering what to do with it...wad to write in it.... Mr Fong gave a class photo of us made into a puzzle! it must have cost something man! but more for the thought tat i am grateful to him for it! he's a nice teacher although i'm not v close to him. still, thanks! I can't believe i'm leaving school with 2 keychains! one of house council and another of class of 2007. nice. it's awesome. the class of 2007 seems so much lighter than the house council one. oh well. i'm going to put them together anyway... finally, the things/people/moments i'll miss:
I believe that's about all i wanna say here! study hard to my frens who are readin this entry! take care of yourself and i'll rmb you all always! =) cheers! --------------------------------- |
