Well, on Friday, I had a feedback session with my supervisor at work. I wasn't exactly expecting that because I thought I'll just mind my own business and do what he wants me to do. But he was nice and was even willing to be late for his meeting, take time off and listen to me during this session. I really appreciate that. This supervisor, Willy, isn't eactly the one that has always been in contact with me. Esther, the staff and the one under him, is. She is often the one that tells me what to do. Anyway, during the feedback session, I was telling him what I've been doing, how I feel and what I hoped to do in the next few months till the end of my internship. So, that session was kinda like the determining factor of my job scope in the weeks to come. To be honest, I was pretty stressed up the night before. I even wrote down my thoughts, feelings, things I did on paper so I won't stammer and forget. Definitely, I gave some thought to what I want to do and consult my father! Learn how to phrase my words properly and ask him for opinion on me meeting clients (which he discouraged). Yeah. And cos it concerns how the remaining of my internship would be like, I really want to get out of the situation I'm in now and do something different, more meaningful and more to my liking. Marketing is already something very foreign and I really don't wanna do something that I'm starting not to like. So it's a life-changing feedback session. Okay..internship-changing feedback session. Oh well. We did manage to talk about things. Shared with him and told him that I'm better at organising and planning. So that's perhaps where I can go! (: Let's see how it will be like after my Sabah holiday. That's what he said! --------------------------------- |
