It was NS pay-day yesterday!! Hmm..so what does NS pay-day gotta do with me?? It's cos I get a treat! Haha. Esp from those high-ranking NSFs. Those who earn alot. Haha. Okay. I went out with Zhen Guang last night for dinner at Sunset way. So that explains the title. I've never been there b4 and it looks pretty good! Like Clarke Quay. Got a platform. But somehow, it isn't crowded.

There are quite a few good restaurants and bars there. In the end, we ate at a jap place since i dun really take steaks and it was a bit pricy. Had a good dinner and catch up (: Like I can finally sit down and talk to him instead of being interrupted by things and on sms. After that, we headed down to Our Daily Scoop! I bet John will be super happy when he sees this!

I wanted to try his recommendation of "Rum & Rasin" but it wasn't available that night! So sad. So I tried the bailey's choc chip which the alcohol isn't very strong. ZG and I also took one bite of the "Xtra Stout" and it's super strong Gin alcohol taste! Wow. Totally shock us lah! Thankfully I didn't take that flavour! Haha. It was quite a long deep walk. But nice still. Esp passing by under the railway bridge. Reminds me of the time when I walked the tracks (:

Well, we chatted all the way and I only remembered I've forgotten to pay him when i boarded the bus. He said it's okay but I think I'll either pay him in cash nxt time or pay for the dinner bill the nxt time round. Yeah. I'm not so cheap-poh. But still, it's quite funny and nice to be given a treat on NS pay-day! Haha.

Well, I just simply like it when my dad pays attention to what I say, smiles and his eyes sparkles/light-up. Was telling him how I met his ex-colleagues at my company yesterday. And he just smiles and laughs along. It's nice. I wish he can pay more attention to what I say instead of just things that interest him..
