[waiting]

Waiting can tempt us to see a murky picture of God's faithfulness, rather than the generous perfection of His timing.

It's like a child waiting to be adopted. When adopted, it turns a parentless boy or girl from a state of starvation to good nutrition, despair to hope, abandonment to community. But there are still many orphans and the process takes long.

Yet, when the time comes, it is perfect, cos you know that God prepares the hearts of the parents to invite the orphans to a loving home. And God prepares the hearts of those who pray and wait patiently.
